Quem é o artista Amedeo Modigliani por trás deste famoso retrato?
O pintor italiano Amedeo Clemente Modigliani, 1884-1920, era conhecido por retratos e nus em estilo moderno caracterizado pelo alongamento de rostos, pescoços e figuras que não foram bem recebidos durante sua vida, mas que mais tarde encontraram aceitação. Modigliani passou a juventude na Itália, onde estudou a arte da Antiguidade e do Renascimento. Mais tarde mudou-se para Paris, onde teve contato com artistas como Pablo Picasso e Constantin Brâncuși.
