About The Artist
Com raízes familiares de Marrocos e França, o artista Nicolas Abtan, residente em Toronto, tem vindo a aperfeiçoar as suas capacidades como pintor de acrílicos há vários anos. Estudante do 3º ano de Biologia na Universidade de York, ele encontrou uma maneira de cruzar seu amor pela arte, natureza e ciência em suas distintas pinturas originais.
Originalmente focado em animais, seu estilo passou a capturar paisagens coloridas e brilhantes e a criar designs surrealistas. Nicolas utiliza técnicas aprendidas em suas paisagens e pinturas de animais em seu surrealismo. Ele gosta de misturar redemoinhos específicos, formas exageradas e linhas e texturas curvas no céu, onde o céu normalmente deveria estar limpo. Ele gosta de fazer arte que faz você pensar, sentir e fazer perguntas. “Há uma certa sensação quando você vê algo que parece real, mas tem todos esses detalhes que você nunca viu antes e cada vez que você olha a peça você descobre algo novo” Seu objetivo é trazer cor e curiosidade para a vida das pessoas, cidades e casas, fornecendo obras de arte de qualidade feitas para inspirar.
